Studio Jordie is the brainchild of award-winning factual television producer and scriptwriter Kirsty Mitchell Jordan.
For more than 20 years, Kirsty's career has taken her wherever the story leads.
She has gained rare access to closed Amish communities, worked at 7,100 metres on Mount Everest, trekked across the Sudanese desert and travelled deep into the Guyanese rainforest – all while creating television watched by millions of people around the world.
For the BBC, Discovery, MTV, National Geographic, CBC and others, Kirsty has uncovered extraordinary stories, earned people's trust and led creative teams in some fairly ridiculous places. She knows how to find the human story inside a complex subject – and shape it into something people genuinely want to watch, understand and remember.
